Our Nursery

After working for her father for 27 years as a plant propagator /nursery woman and as a Senior Partner and Director, Ann along with her family made the change to a specialist tubestock propagation nursery.

The site of Ann’s nursery was first developed in 1954 by her father Bill Von Allmen, co-founder of Fitzroy Nurseries.

Ann acquired the site in 2000 to carry on her new business.
  The business has now expanded to include a retail section catering to the gardener who is looking for that something different.

The vast experience and expertise of the staff of Orams Nurseries has allowed us to offer to you only the best quality plants and service.

Being a member of The Rare Fruit Council for 20 years and President of the Capricorn edible plants for 7 years has given Ann a unique opportunity to expand her vast knowledge of Tropical Fruits.

Ann is also a member of the Rockhampton Horticultural Society as well as other gardening groups.

Ann, her Family and Staff look forward to being of service to you and being able to supply a quality product.
